  2. Student Perspective & Context (5 minutes)
    • a. Partner shares student story from New Orleans conference
    • b. Emphasize the opportunity to improve student preparedness and confidence
  3. EdTPA Overview and Department Vision (10 minutes)
    • a. Open discussion: What do you know about EdTPA?
    • b. Quick verbal summary of the 3 tasks (Planning, Instruction, Assessment)
    • c. Share department’s goal of embedding EdTPA-style tasks in coursework
    • d. Emphasize that this is not about adding work—but shifting how we support students
  4. Small Group Brainstorm: Course Connection (15 minutes)
    • a. Prompt:
