Maintenance Supervisor Meeting Agenda

  1. What is our role as maintenance?
    • a. What is the most important thing we as maintenance do outside of safety?
  2. Before going any further, you need to make the decision whether you wants to be your subordinates friend or supervisor.
  3. What is your responsibility as a maintenance supervisor?
  4. We are members of management with the most responsibilities and highest expectations.
    • a. As supervisors, you are responsible for teams performance. I suggest you start expecting your team to perform as expected and hold them accountable.
    • b. From this point forward, excuses for not meeting expectations will not be heard. I expect you to do your jobs and ensure your team's performance aligns with our goals. That cannot be done if you don't know the whereabouts and activities of your team members throughout your shift. You all schedule class, breaks, days off and hardly keep them updated. I don't anybody held to these schedules.
  5. Tell me one thing that's in your job description.
  6. We have to get back in control, press for quality work in a timely matter.
  7. No more just talking to team members about poor performance. It has to be on paper.
  8. Every downtime event on Sunday night/Monday is an automatic disciplinary for the one that had the previous PM.
  9. The amount of PM audits on the weekends double until further notice.
  10. Each of you will take ownership of assigned equipment to get back to standards
    • a. Bnthony - both pack-out baggers.
    • b. Brandon - both dapecs.
  11. Neglecting equipment issues because it's assigned to someone else will not be tolerated.
  12. When you're given instructions from me doesn't mean to jump the gun and tell your team it's Robs doing. It means you have issues that you're failing to address.
  13. If you have any issues with what I've said, this might not be for you.
    • a. Jeremiah - both dapec baggers
  14. Make the decision now, step up or fail.
